Jamie leads the drive for New Business at Breadalbane. He has developed an extensive knowledge of the UK Commercial Finance sector having held senior positions in Sales, Credit, Risk, and Operations within Banks and Specialist lending houses. He has strong relationships with an extensive panel of funders and a host of accountancy, legal and financial contacts. Jamie specialises in all aspects of Asset Based Lending including Invoice Finance, Asset Finance, Trade Finance, Refinance, and Short Term Finance.
Duncan helps drive the new business at Breadalbane through his extensive work in the intermediary market across Scotland. Having been involved with a range of deals from start-ups to MBOs he can add value to a variety of transactions. A key focus of Duncan’s is the renewable energy sector and refinance deals. He has experience in Business Finance, Key Account and Relationship Management, and Procurement.
Jonny has been with Breadalbane Finance in various capacities since 2015 and has a great knowledge of our products and services, which coupled with a strong ability to understand our client’s requirements makes him an ideal relationship manager. Jonny’s key area of responsibility is ensuring all our clients have the full support of Breadalbane Finance throughout the life of their business. By undertaking regular client visits to really understand how our clients operate, Jonny is well placed to offer support and advice on areas concerning business funding requirements. Jonny’s role epitomises Breadalbane’s commitment to our clients to be more than just a sell and forget finance broker.
Lynsey joined us in 2020. Lynsey is an invoice finance specialist, having been in the industry for 15 years having experience working for high street banks and independent funders. During her time in financial services Lynsey has developed unparalleled experience of delivering funding solutions for her clients across all industry sectors, from start up companies to established multi nationals and has a strong network of advisors and professional contacts. As well as a focus on invoice finance, Lynsey has experience in all aspects of asset backed lending.
Freya joined Breadalbane in 2018 having worked previously in commercial banking with a well-known high street bank and brings with her that mainstream experience to Breadalbane balanced with a very commercial approach. Freya’s ability to balance attention to detail whilst maintaining the strongest client relationships makes her a real asset to all involved in larger transactions. Freya is responsible for all our corporate property transactions where commercial, property backed borrowing exceeds £1m.
Jack joined us as a graduate in 2018 and now heads up our direct sales desk, excelling at building a strong network of suppliers and clients. Jack works on all types of deals, from asset finance through Business Loans and invoice finance.
James is Breadalbane’s go to adviser and trusted partner for green energy and renewables. His career in asset finance and banking spans over 25 years. The team at Breadalbane have worked with James for a number of years to deliver projects and renewable energy investments on behalf of our clients. With a high level understanding and experience of seeing projects through from the planning stage to income generating operational assets, James creates funding certainty for clients to help them realise their green energy investments across all technologies and various sectors. He has access to a panel of funders at both asset finance and project finance level to ensure the right finance solution is found for each project.
John has 20 years’ financial services experience, 17 of them spent within invoice finance. Starting with Bank Of Scotland Business Banking in late 2001, he moved to Bank Of Scotland Cashflow Finance in 2004 and remained within invoice finance until now. In 2012, John moved in to a sales role in what is now Lloyds Commercial Finance following the takeover of HBOS. A move to Bibby in 2017 was his first outside of the banking environment and led to him gaining experience and connections in the independent market. He spent the last 3 years there dealing with Construction-based clients and his built up a great understanding of the unique funding requirements in that specialist sector.
Angus joined the Breadalbane team in 2021 on an apprenticeship program, specifically working with Jonny supporting our existing clients. Angus represents our passion for developing the future of the Industry and developing talent from within.
